Eco-blog: Worsted Witch

One of my favorite eco-centered blogs, the Worsted Witch just pointed out an excellent way to spread the Fair Trade chocolate love-Halloween Candy! Here’s a direct link to the post and here’s a Fair Trade Candy Kit.

I have a particular soft spot for The Worsted Witch, as she was the first blog to mention my shop, before it even opened! She also maintains an excellent list of other fair trade/socially responsibleĀ sources and informationĀ for fiber artsits, here.

Simple

So what image appears in your mind when you hear the phrase “living green” or “eco-friendly”? Is it beautifull simple parties in a fresh, open setting?

Yeah, me neither.

Until, that is, I found Danny Seo and his work.

A few weeks ago More Hip Than Hippie interviewed Danny Seo and I was intrigued. I was listening while knitting and by the time I got on the computer, I forgot to check out his site. Lucky for me, Alicia pointed it out this week when she perfectly summarized what makes these books extrodinary: He makes living green do-able, fashionable (without being “trendy”) and, even, desirable.
I love the accesible sophistication of his books, and his blog provides a daily insight into making a green life elegant.
